Richard "Bootsie" Booth
Australia certainly doesn't suffer from a shortage of talented jazz saxophonists, but when it comes to creating that authentic jump blues sound and feel, no one surpasses the genius or experience of Richard Booth. Richardís talent has shone with a plethora of Australian and international acts over the course of his twenty-three year career, including Jimmy Barnes, Deni Hines, Galapagos Duck, Keith Urban, Foreigner, and the Doobie Brothers.

A huge fan of early RíníB sax pioneers like Louis Jordan, Big Jay McNeely, Illinois Jacquet and Earl Bostic, Richard is more than adept at laying down the full gamut of jazz-blues sounds, from hot swing riffs that wail to smooth ballads and everything in between.
